What is Adblue or DEF ?

Diesel Exhaust Fluid or AdBlue is a urea solution made up of 32.5% urea and 67.5% of deionized water and is used in the modern diesel engine to reduce emissions.

When it meets the hot exhaust gases it releases Ammonia which is a catalyst to a chemical reaction that converts Nitrogen Oxide into two harmless chemicals Water vapor and Nitrogen.

With the demand for DEF/AdBlue increasing massively over the last couple of years so has the problems for storage, dispensing.

Problems regarding AdBlue /DEF

AdBlue/DEF does not store well in direct sunlight as it crystalizes, the contents get stolen or contaminated and pumping equipment get stolen, it is also corrosive to steel.

The Solutions

Keeping the contents in a Polyethylene inner tank enclosed in lockable bund combat all of the above problems, keeping out of sunlight, keeping pumping equipment and contents secure.
