2140 Litre U.N. Approved Bunded Diesel Twin Axle EU Highway Bowser

DESCRIPTION:

Fuel bowser manufacturers offer the option to have a twin axle highway towable fuel bowser (single axle trailer also available) to suit customers personal preferences. Trailer Engineering's twin axle road towable fuel bowser offers a comfortable and reliable towing capability. The trailer is fully welded to ensure its reliability as many other manufacturers offer trailers which are bolted together in which may come loose over time. The strong twin axle chassis is manufactured for transporting a 2140 litre fuel bowser which is fully U.N certified for 10 Years. Constructed from a polyethylene inner tank to ensure a clean storage solution of fuels, secured in a steel outer bund in which has fork truck lifting points (for when the tank is out of the chassis), Four lifting points and lockable rear door.

Chassis:

Constructed from with 5mm pressed steel section, fully welded with 100 x 50 RSC, ‘A’ frame drawbar & front standing plate, pressed rear lighting channel. All hot dip galvanised.

Technical Specifications

AXLE/SUSPENSION:

KnottAvonride twin 1500Kg torsion beams fitted with 200 x 50 Auto reverse brakes.

COUPLING:

Knott-Avonride 3000kg posibrake over run auto reverse c/w spring assisted handbrake lever, breakaway cable. Coupling fitted with 40mm ring eye or 50mm ball.

WHEELS AND TYRES:

4 No 175 x 13 x 8 ply radial tyres on 4 stud 5½” pcd rims.

OUTER BUND TANK:

Cylindrical in section with removable top section for tank access. Rear hinged access door fitted with stainless steel hinge. Bund contains 110% of tank content 4 lifting eyes, Fork sockets for use when tank is not fitted in a chassis

INNER FUEL TANK:

Constructed from translucent heavy duty polyethylene, baffled, 2” filler cap & chain. 2” vent valve, P.R.V.in the top of the tank, ½” bsp suction & return in tank top, Ball valve in base of tank to pump.

PUMP:

K2 semi-rotary pump c/w in line ‘Y’ Strainer fitted with 15ft of 1” diesel hose & trigger nozzle stowed on bracket. All contained within lockable bund area. Options available on request: Electric Pump, Petrol Pump, Non Resale Flowmeter.

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT:

Tandem moulded mudguards, mud flaps, telescopic front jockey wheel, side reflectors, front markers, full road lighting c/w 13 pin plug and 7 pin adapter.

FINISH:

Tank- Primer & two top coats in single British Standard colour. Galvanised Chassis.
