DESCRIPTION:

The 500 litre water & drinking water highway bowser is available for potable water (drinking water) or grey water (waste water) fitted into Trailer Engineering's fully approved highway towable water bowser trailer. This drinking water highway bowser can be configured for many applications including flower watering, pressure washing, dust suppression, feeding welfare units and feeding animals water via a trough. For a drinking water highway bowser (potable water), the tank needs to be constructed from a specialist blue polyethylene which is fully secretary of state approved. Other colours are available for grey water.

Chassis:

The drinking water highway bowser constructed from 80 x 80 R.S.A fully welded with a ‘T’ frame drawbar, all fully hot dipped galvanised to B.S standards.

Technical Specifications

AXLE/SUSPENSION:

Avonride rubber torsion beam axle fitted with 200 x 50 auto reverse brakes.

WHEELS/TYRES:

2 No. 175 x 13 8 ply commercial van tyres on 4 stud 5.1/2” PCD rims.

COUPLING:

Knott-Avonride auto reverse coupling fitted with 50mm ball or 40mm eye, break away cable & parking brake lever.

TANK:

Polyethylene moulded tank, elliptical in section, baffled & fitted with an 18” lockable outer hinged manlid cover, inner sealed vented manlid. Tank secured to chassis with 2 stainless steel straps. 1 rear tap fitted, 2 rear outlets.

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT:

The ancillary equipment that comes with this drinking water highway bowser is moulded mudguards, front telescopic jockey wheel, rear lighting board. Rear propstand optional.

FINISH:

The Poly tank in yellow, green, red or blue. The drinking water highway bowser only comes in a blue. Galvanised chassis.
