Vacuum Tanker and Pressure Washer
THE CHALLENGE
Trailer Engineering was approached by a company operating at London Stansted airport to manufacture a trailer that is easily manoeuvrable and complete with a 1125 litre water bowser and pressure washer for washing down equipment and cleaning the roads around the airfield.
The trailer also needed to be equipped with a 1500 litre vacuum tanker for sucking up debris and excess water after the pressure washer has been used. This trailer was for the use on the airfield only.
THE SOLUTION
Trailer Engineering designed and manufactured a turn table trailer in which had a braking system, lights and suspension. The trailer was also fitted with a standard 1125 litre polyethylene water bowser connected to a 3000 psi diesel pressure washer for washing down equipment and airfield access roads.
Parallel to the water bowser there was a 1500 litre vacuum tanker for clearing FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and excess water.
THE RESULT - A VACUUM TANKER AND PRESSURE WASHER
London Stansted airport has operated this trailer for many years ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all ground handling and airfield employees.
