This 1000 Litre vacuum tanker has been specifically manufactured for emptying toilets / portaloos while out on hire.
Complete with a Mec2000 vacuum pump in which is run by an electric start petrol powered Honda engine, all contained inside a front cabinet. This vacuum tanker has been fitted onto a fully E.U approved highway tow trailer chassis, with options available for a skid mounted vacuum tank or a site towable trailer unit.
Description
Safety features include primary overfill cut off, secondary overfill cut off, PRV (pressure relief valve), vacuum relief valve (decompression valve), pressure clock and engine belt and pulleys enclosed inside the cabinet. The cabinet can be fixed in a closed or open position.
The vacuum tank is also fitted with a contents sight glass, that can be isolated by a 2″ ball valve at base.
For discharging the vacuum tank there is a 3″ ball valve at the rear of the tank fitted with 3″ nipple for a discharge hose to be connected to. There is also a 3″ cap and chain connected to this 3″ nipple for when discharge is not in use.
This 1000 litre vacuum tanker also has a 2″ suction wand complete with 2″ isolation valve and 15m of tiger tail hose which can be stored on the hose brackets on the vacuum tank and a suction wand lance holder on the rear lighting channel.
Perfect addition to any toilet hire / planthire fleet for servicing portaloos, toilet blocks, septic tanks and welfare units.
Technical Specifications
TRAILER CHASSIS:
The vacuum tankers trailer chassis is constructed from 100 x 50 RSC fully welded with front standing plate that is fitted with a front cabinet and the chassis is of a ‘A’ frame drawbar. All finished in Hot dip galvanised.
TRAILER AXLE/SUSPENSION:
Single Knott-Avonride 1500kg torsion beam axle fitted with 200 x 50 Auto reverse brakes.
TRAILER WHEELS AND TYRES:
2 No 185 x 13 x 8 ply radial tyres. 4 stud 51⁄2”pcd rims.
COUPLING: Knott-Avonride 2000kg posibrake over run auto reverse c/w spring assisted handbrake lever, breakaway cable & can be fitted with either 40mm ring eye or 50mm ball.
VACUUM TANKER’S COUPLING:
There is a Knott-Avonride 2000kg posibrake coupling with over run auto reverse and comes c/w spring
assisted handbrake lever, breakaway cable & either 40mm ring eye or 50mm ball coupling head.
ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT:
The trailer is fitted with Moulded mudguards, mud flaps, telescopic front jockey wheel, Side reflectors, front reflectors, full road lighting c/w 13 pin plug.
VACUUM TANK:
The vacuum tanker’s tank is cylindrical in design complete with dished ends either end of the tank. This vacuum tank in particular is a single tank with a capacity of holding 1000 litres of waste. There are also options to have a split tank design meaning there are 2 tanks in 1, with a variety of capacity options for either side of the tank. Split vacuum tanks are usually designed for one waste tank and a clean water tank for washdown or toilet flush top up capability.
As standard this 1000 litre vac tank is manufactured from mild steel and has the option to be either, painted with primer and top coat or the tank can be galvanised and finished as a galvanised tank. For an additional cost there is also the option to galvanise the tank and finish it in a painted colour aswell.
Upon request stainless steel vacuum tankers can be manufactured also.
PUMP:
MEC2000 vacuum pump as standard and can be powered by either petrol Honda or diesel Yanmar options.
Choice of vacuum pump sizes can be arranged if you’d prefer more or less suction capability.
Other engine makes can also be arranged upon request and there is also a possibility of manufacturing an electric powered unit.
FINISH:
Vacuum Tank Finish- Painted or Galvanised options as well as the choice to have both galvanised and then painted tank finish.
All painted vacuum tanks are Primer and two top coats of single British Standard colour.
Galvanised Trailer Chassis with optional extra of a painted trailer finish.

Delivery Information & Exclusions.
* UK Mainland Delivery, Delivery price above Excludes Northern Ireland, Northern Scotland & Isles, West Wales, coastal areas Etc Price On Application (POA).
*For none UK Deliveries POA.
*Offloading of heavy items such as bowsers & tanks should be made by a forklift with extended forks or similar heavy lifting equipment. If you will be offloading via an overhead crane and require delivery to be made on flat bed vehicle please advise prior to purchase as additional charges may apply, our standard delivery vehicles are normally curtain sided vehicles and don’t allow access for overhead cranes. If a forklift with extended forks is not available to offload, please advise prior to purchase as we can make alternative arrangements i.e. Via HIAB Delivery. However, these special deliveries will be POA.
*Delivery is a kerbside service only, and not a “drop at your door service”. Arrangements must be made by the customer to manoeuvre the tanks into position.
* It is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is safe and adequate access for large lorries.
*Trailer Engineering Will contact you prior to despatch to advise delivery date, if for any reason delivery is attempted and failed on the advised date, it is the customers responsibility to cover the initial transport costs and any additional charges to get the units back to ourselves and Re-delivered on another date. Therefore, it is vital that if delivery is expected on a specific date that someone is available with the correct offloading facilities and can sign for the goods at the delivery address as additional charges for failed deliveries can be significant.
*As offloading is the customers responsibility any damages to the units which is caused during the offloading process wouldn’t be covered under warranty and would be the customers responsibility.
*Tanks cannot be left without a customer’s signature.
